My trip to Amsterdam was like a honeymoon vacation..hehe..it juz so happen tat it was their tulips season n wai wai suggested going to 'Kukenkoff' for sightsee...we were afraid ams will have heavy rain as reported by the weather forecast....Therefore upon reaching ams we immediately book the tour package as the weather was sunny...morale of story: never trust the weather forecast....got to noe gladis who was also on probation...its such a coincidence tat she knew my batchgal...din noe she was also frm FMSS till jul told me she was her classmate...lol~ wat a small world...anyway its always good to have junior crew on the flight cos the tendency for them to sightsee is higher compared to senior crews who have already visited the country multiple times

Brisbane is boring...crew were somewhat boring as well....they coop themselves in the hotel room most of the time to hibernate for the return sector which was in the middle of the night...cant blame them since they r all so senior n have been to Brisbane many times already...Well at least there was a casino nearby within walking distance...too bad i din bring enough capital to play or else i might juz spend my time at the casino...in the end i went out alone n find dinner...ate at an asian cafeteria n slack at starbucks wif a cup of ice blended coffee

Did a Perth flight with my batchmate Karen...So coincidence tat we both get rostered together for our 2nd solo...met up with Paul who happen to be in perth too...got to noe Yi Jia who was on Paul's flight....she is also on probation n juz came back from amsterdam where i will be going on my 5th solo...it was nice having the company of other crew members otherwise life is gonna be boring overseas...Walked along the shopping streets n we had cheap japanese food at a student joint thanks to the recommendation of Jerrica...Jerrica was like our tour guide bringing us ard the streets of perth...im glad we had jerrica ard cos she was not only nice but pretty as well....hehe....my next flight (HKG turn) will be wif her as well...its always nice to have someone u noe onboard the flight to help u in times of emergency :)

So far so good..i m fortunate to have kind n helpful crew for all my flights....the bad thing is tat i'll only see for tat particular flight unless we r rostered together again...good thing is tat i get to meet new colleagues every time i go onboard....

My 1st solo was to shanghai...touch down at nite n reached millenium hotel ard midnight....some of us were hungry so we decided to takeaway Macdonalds which was juz beside the hotel...another GS n me brave the cold winds n walked out of the hotel to buy Mac for the stewardess....it was nice chatting with the other GS along the way as he told me some of the incidents which has happen to him b4 onboard...

Next morning the senior crew brought me to buy DVDs at Pearl City...DVDs there are dirt cheap man...1 DVD cost only S$1.20....therefore i bought the whole season of Sex in the City(season1-6)...terminator(drama series) & invisible man(drama series)....After tat we headed for lunch at a chi restaurant...food was also cheap...paid abt S$8 for 4 ala carte dishes....Next the stewardess brought me to a massage centre which offers crew discount...paid like only S$19 or 2 hrs of full body massage....super shiok tat i fell asleep n end up snoring....so paisei as the 2 stewardess was juz lying next to me...gosh! lastly went to carreer four to grab some makan for dinner...ended up buying some tea leaves to bring back s'pore and Macdonald for dinner

I muz point out tat Mac in shanghai is also much cheaper than s'pore...a meal cost abt 3-4 dollars...guess the standard of living there is so much lower than s'pore...Went back to our hotel n i cant resist myself from soaking in the bathtub....the hotel room is one of the best i've ever stayed....transparent glass at the bathtub so u cld still watch the tv even when u r bathing n sound system in the toilet connected to the tv.

3 mths of training has gone by....many heartaches n emotions were felt when we left for seperate flights....the many clz outings tat we had will forever be stay as memories in my life....a short 3 mths together felt like 3 yrs of frenship....tho there r some backstabbing n bitching along the way...we still manage to stick as a clz....3.5gbs of photos were taken over these 3 mths.....Well....a new beginning for all as we embark on our solo flights...all the best to everyone n hopefully get more long flights (moscow-houston)!!!
